NEW MURAL @ ARTS DISTRICT PARK

Very happy to announce that you can now view my mural at the new Arts District Park located at the corner of 5th and Hewitt!

The mural titled "Graffiti Spirit of L.A. Renaissance" depicts my version of a modern Quetzalcoatl & god of the arts. It's hands on the tools that created the Arts District (brushes & spray cans) it's wings and halo represent the City of Angels and how it's currently balancing all of it's weight on one hand. Underneath the spirit is the landscape of the Arts District and it's future with a nod to the new 6th street bridge to be erected soon.

Big thanks to ArtshareLA and Councilman Huizar for making this happen.

SAN GABRIEL VALLEY GRAFFITI ARTISTS EXPLAIN THEIR CONTROVERSIAL METHODS, IDENTITY | SGV Tribune Projects

Recent local story in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune about why we chose a 10 minute trek from the San Gabriel Valley to DTLA to promote our graffiti art and murals when we were younger (and older).

Check out the story, some great pics and opinions from several of my contemporary SGV artists.

COMMISSIONED IN CHICAGO

I was recently in Chicago creating a unique piece for a collector. The piece is entitled "Self Made Man" and was hand painted with aerosol onto metal and later finished with an automotive high gloss clear coat. Here's a short time lapse video of the process. Hope you like!

I had a great time in the "Windy City" enjoy some of the pics I took along the way.

#MILKLOVESART PROJECT

Cow sculpture I was commissioned to paint by the people who brought you the Got Milk? campaign (California Milk Processor Board)

All art will be put on auction with the proceeds benefitting the Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times, a great charity working with kids fighting cancer.
