MAN ONE X ESTRELLA JALISCO X THRILLIST

This summer I had the opportunity to create a wonderful mural to honor my lovely parents. Something I've been wanting to do for a while now. It is definitely one of my highlights of the year so far.  Thanks to Estrella Jalisco and Thrillist for sponsoring this project and documenting it in such a great way. Check out the video, in depth interview, and pics below.

WATCH MY LIVE INTERVIEW ON MODERN ART BLITZ!!

I was recently interviewed on Modern Art Blitz! Hosted by well known LA art critic and gallery owner Mat Gleason.  It was a fun conversation and I'm really happy to share it with you!

Modern Art Blitz welcomes guests Man One (5:04) and Mark Steven Greenfield (32:06) speaking about their art and careers with Mat Gleason and Co-Host Lisa Derrick. Intern Aliza is in the "Sketcher's Seat" drawing portraits of the two guests as they speak.

LA BULLA EXHIBITION WAS A SUCCESS!

On April 3oth I curated a unique Lucha Libre (Mexican wrestling) inspired exhibition at Plaza de la Raza in Lincoln Heights. The event was incredible! Antonio Pelayo (Pelayo Productions) did a great job producing this event which included not only our art exhibit but also live lucha libre, film screenings by Hola Mexico Film Festival, great music by Dj Sloepoke and by El Conjunto Nueva Ola, lucha fashion show and so much more. Here's a quick video to give you a taste of what it was like that night.

April 30, 2016 La Bulla exhibition was curated by Man One and Crewest. The exhibition was part of a larger extravaganza showcasing the Mexican past time of lucha libra. With live Mexican wrestling matches, music, fashion and of course our art show, this event brought thousands of people over to Plaza de la Raza to celebrate.

Below is a slideshow with some of the paintings from our exhibition.
