If you've ever been interested in changing careers or learning more about becoming a professional working artist or gallery owner, you can sign up on PivotPlanet.com and book a session with me!

I will be able to help you with any specific questions you may have about being an artist and taking your art to the next level.  I've been making a living as a professional artist for almost 20 years and can help you with anything from how to market your work, how to price your art, how to sell it, creating a collector base, how to work with galleries, and pretty much any other question you may have.

Or maybe you'd like to start your own gallery.  Since I've been running Crewest Gallery in L.A. for the last decade, I know I can advise you on important steps you'll need to take to form and run your own gallery, sales structures, marketing and pr, dealing with artists, contracts, and a ton of other stuff.

So if you think you could use some expert advise and are serious about taking your art or yourself to the next level, then I'd love to help you out!

PAINTING SOME GRAFF IN GERMANY

One of the best things to do while traveling to another country is to hang out with the locals and paint a nice wall. It's not so much about what you paint, but just the fact that you get to hang out and learn from each other and of course have a good time.

While in Wiesbaden, I got to paint a quick wall with the homie Vyal, our mutual friend Mr. Puppet from Sweden and local artist (by way of Spain) Sermon.  A few pics to retell the story.

This is not Disneyland, actually a little town outside Wiesbaden:

MEETING OF STYLES MURAL IN GERMANY

WIESBADENWALL.72

Here are (almost) final shots of the mural we painted in Wiesbaden, Germany.  The mural was a dedication to the International Wall Street Meeting Monument and Meeting of Styles in the Schlachtof-Wiesbaden, Germany.

The theme was a Graffiti Universe, here's me working on my Man One World and character!

Art Battle LA premieres August 30th, 2012 at 9pm on KCET in the Southern California area

I'm proud to be featured in this documentary side by side with Mear, Eine, and Inkie.  Read below for more info.
Los Angeles, CA - Niche.LA Video Art presents the premiere of Art Battle LA on August 30th, 2012 at 9pm on KCET’s show Open Call, a television series highlighting Los Angeles’s many vibrant arts communities including the Colburn School Conservatory of Music, UCLA Live, Los Angeles Ballet, and Live @ The Ford.
Directed by Eric Heights, Art Battle LA chronicles four graffiti artists as they “battle” in a BritWeek sponsored competition judged by Jaguar and Christopher Guy Designs. Follow along as Mear One, Man One, Inkie, and Eine spend a week together painting murals all over Los Angeles.
“I wanted this documentary to reflect the new generation of artists emerging through graffiti art culture with a compassionate narrative structure that brings exclusive discussions on modern street art to a new audience,” says Director Eric Heights.

“We are excited to work with KCET to showcase an often misunderstood art form in a more positive light. These are talented artists that do a lot for charities. We should recognize their contributions and support their work,” says Executive ProducerNic Cha Kim.
