Me and Gustavo have been collaborating on comic book and art projects for over 15 years. Here’s an example of just one of our collabs over the years…”UNEARTHED” was produced in 2010.
This comic actually doubled as the catalog for an exhibition we curated at my gallery Crewest back in 2011 featuring artists from all over the world including the incredible George Clinton, Overton Loyd, WonOneABC, and so many others! Man One: Artist, Curator and Honoree At This Year's LA BULLA Event!

It was a great event with over 3,000 people in attendance. Thanks to Antonio Pelayo for asking me to curate the exhibition and for the Pelayo Foundation honoring me that night as well and writing me a big ol’ check! Lol.

This beautifully produced print is based on Man One’s recent mural in New York City created on the 79th floor at the 3 World Trade Center. The original mural was commissioned by Silverstein Properties and is now part of their vast graffiti and street
art collection.
MAN ONE PAINTS AT THE WORLD TRADE CENTER!
The idea behind this piece was based on Man One’s inspirational views of Manhattan from high above the city skyline. From that vantage point all he saw were the tops of giant buildings as far as the eye could see. He recalled a childhood movie favorite called “War of the Gargantuas”. It reminded him of architectural behemoths battling for supremacy. In this piece, he paints two large colorful characters made up of structural elements trying to out do each other in the gray skies over New York City. It’s a city of giants that show no mercy.
