GRAFFITI SPIRIT OVER CITY HALL
Just finished this mural located on Olympic near Santa Fe in Downtown LA.
"Graffiti Spirit Over City Hall" by Man One © 2012
It's a statement on how graffiti artists have forced themselves into the City's dialogue
about what is public art and ending the mural moratorium.
The City can no longer be dismissive about our artform and it's positive impact
on community and youth culture.
My Graffiti Spirits speak to that.

NEW PRINT: "ONE BLISS"
I'm proud to release my new print entittled:
“One Bliss”
I was asked to create an image that could be printed as a limited edition print to help raise money for the Breast Cancer Fund and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital the Lunafest whose mission is to celebrate and inspire women through the art of film and community fundraising,

“One Bliss” was created by me to show the empowerment of women and their energy, aura and movement as well as health. The image in the print shows a woman of strength stemming from a red lotus. “The red lotus signifies the original nature and purity of the heart . It is the lotus of love, compassion, passion and all other qualities of the heart. It is the flower of Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion.”- buddhanet.net.

GRAFFITI PORTRAITS: SARA & NICOLE
A good friend commissioned these paintings of his two grand daughters,
Sara and Nicole.
Done in my typical aerosol style, it was easy to mix the colors
and patterns because the images of the girls were so cheerful and happy!

GRAFFITI SPIRIT OVER LA
My newest commissioned piece entitled "Graffiti Spirit Over LA" © 2012
The collectors wanted me to create a site specific piece that maximized the
square footage of a wall that was oddly shaped due to the ceiling design.
I came up with the idea of painting the mural on four triangular canvases.
Luckily my friends over at California Canvas are excellent and were
able to handle my request given all the wierd angles that were required.
Check out this quick video I cut of the painting coming to life:
