TRUCK PAINTING @ ALTERNATIVE CAFE GALLERY
"Coin Operated" - While visiting Seaside, California for my solo show that opened on Feb.12, I got the opportunity to paint a panel truck as a live demo and promotion for the gallery.
Blank truck was my canvas...
Truck gets prepped by razor blade..
Gallery owner, Scott, lets one of his workers know that he missed a spot!..
Day one was a "Man" style piece on the passenger side...
Outline first....
Filling in next...
Two hours later..side one is finished!
In front of the final piece..
Posing with Vince (friend and show curator)...
My childrens gave me a thumbs up!
Day two I rocked a character on the driver's side...
Finished pic...
I had a good time knocking it out and speaking with the local young writers and art enthusiasts...
My show is up at the Alternative Cafe Gallery until March 10, 2010 www.thealternativecafe.com
